Sponsorship Opportunities for Cybersymposium Archived on the Web
A New Generation of Cyberspace Conferencing

The Symposium on Healthcare Internet and E-Commerce Legal, Regulatory and Ethical Issues took place March 26-28, 2000 at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC. It was sponsored by the American Health Lawyers Association, the British Healthcare Internet Association, the Health Care Compliance Association, Hi-Ethics, the Privacy Officers Association and The eHealthcare Association. The Symposium featured speakers from the FBI, FTC, FDA, DHHS, Department of Justice, Office of Inspector General, States Attorneys General, State Pharmacy Boards and State Medical Boards, as well as reports from the major health Internet ethics initiatives. The Symposium will be archived on the Symposium web site. This CyberSymposium will include 3 preconference symposia, 17 plenary sessions in both audio and video, and 28 concurrent sessions which will be audio archived. All handouts will be available in PDF-downloadable format. Links to relevant secondary sources will also be available. The Archived Symposium will be available May 1 through September 30, 2000.

CyberSymposium registrants can purchase access for $295. A substantial marketing campaign involving a mailed brochure, advertising in the health care press and email blasts will be instituted to make known the availability of the CyberSymposium.

A limited number of $5000 sponsorships are available for the CyberSymposium. Sponsor's logos and links are featured on the Symposium web page. Sponsors are also recognized on the face of the CyberSymposium's marketing brochure and in all of the print and email advertisements for the CyberSymposium. Advertisements for the CyberSymposium will be taken out in AHA News, Group Practice Journal, Health Forum Journal, Healthcare Business, Hospital & Health Networks, Modern Healthcare and Modern Physician. It is anticipated that approximately 25,000 brochures featuring the CyberSymposium will be mailed.
